EGR Valve Parts

EGR valves regulate the flow of exhaust gases back into the intake system to reduce combustion temperatures and NOx emissions. Carbon build-up, sticking valves or actuator failure can cause rough running, loss of power and engine derate. EGR faults are common on Euro 5 and Euro 6 Volvo, DAF, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Renault Trucks and Iveco engines.
