Engine Block Parts

The engine block forms the structural foundation of the engine, housing cylinders, oil galleries and coolant passages. Cracking, liner movement or coolant contamination can render an engine unserviceable. Block failure typically results from overheating, freezing or severe mechanical stress on Volvo, DAF, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Renault Trucks and Iveco engines.
