Engine Fluids

Engine fluids are critical to lubrication, cooling, corrosion protection and power transmission. Fluid selection is governed by OEM performance specifications, not just SAE viscosity. This category includes engine oils meeting standards such as Volvo VDS-4.5 and VDS-4, Scania LDF-4 and LDF-3, Mercedes-Benz 228.51 and 228.52, MAN M3677 and M3775, Renault RLD-3 and RLD-4, and ACEA E6 and E9, designed for Euro 5 and Euro 6 engines with DPF and SCR aftertreatment. It also includes coolants defined by IAT, OAT and HOAT/Si-OAT chemistry, and gearbox and differential oils formulated for high load, shear stability and thermal control. Incorrect fluid selection can cause accelerated wear, seal degradation, DPF contamination, injector issues and driveline failure.
